"...There is another..."

A few years back, I was at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida for the opening of the Star Tours ride.  While at the hotel, I was paying for my lunch with my credit card.  The waitress, upon noticing my name, grew very interested suddenly.  "You're not THE Don Bies, are you?" she exclaimed.

I was shocked to be recognized.  If the waitress knew me, perhaps I had a whole legion of fans waiting to accost me.   Attempting to appear humble, I casually replied "Why, yes, I am."

"The Golfer?!" she queried, apparently confused as I seemed much to young to be a golfer on the Senior circuit.  "Oh, him.  No, I'm not that Don Bies..." I said slumping deeper into my seat.  Ah, the price of fame...

Since I was very young, I have been aware of my namesake,  Don Bies the golfer, now on the Senior Circuit.  As a kid, it was always a kick to see "my" name in the newspaper, and I even got to see him on TV briefly.  Alas, I have yet to meet him

As I procured our name for a website first, I felt it was only fair to include him here.  Below are his stats that I was able to find in a search on the web.  Perhaps someday we'll meet and trade stories.  I'm sure he gets questions about R2-D2 all the time when paying for lunch.
